Whole30x2: Day 49
March 5, 2014 — 2:07 am

My semi-regular trivia night was unexpectedly canceled at the last minute tonight, which led to a fantastic bunless burger and karaoke with a relatively new friend and a couple of complete strangers. Nerve-wracking for an introvert, but ultimately a lot of fun.

Here are my food photos for day 49:

Tuesday, March 4

I woke up at 10:25 a.m. (after heading to bed at 2:25 a.m.).

Breakfast: 10:40 a.m. | 4 eggs, greens mix, 2 Tbsp. red palm oil, herbs & spices

Breakfast: 10:40 a.m. | 4 eggs, greens mix, 2 Tbsp. red palm oil, herbs & spices

Lunch: 4:45 p.m. | 3.75 oz. sardines, 1 avocado, 2.5 stalks celery, 5,000 IU Vitamin D capsule, Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc caplet

Lunch: 4:45 p.m. | 3.75 oz. sardines, 1 avocado, 2.5 stalks celery, 5,000 IU Vitamin D capsule, Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc caplet

Dinner: 8:20 p.m. | Double burger wrapped in romaine lettuce, with grilled onions, roasted garlic, avocado, cucumber, dill pickles, and mustard

That stuff that looks like mayo or cheese on the burger is actually just roasted garlic, which turns into a paste-like consistency. I did my due diligence on this even to the point that I had the cashier double-check whether the pickles had any trace of added sugar. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to go back for one with cheese and bacon after these 60 days are up.
