Although I’ve managed to wake up consistently every morning at 9:25 for about a week and a half now, my evenings have started to slide back a little later — I didn’t get to bed until 3:30 a.m. last night, which I believe is the first time I’ve had less than six hours of sleep since I began this 60-day Whole30 program. It’s time to make a renewed effort to get to bed earlier.

Thursday, Feb. 6
I woke up at 9:25 a.m. (after heading to bed at 3:30 a.m.).
Breakfast: 10:45 a.m. | 5 oz. pork sausage, 5 brussels sprouts, 1/4 yellow squash, 1/4 sweet onion, 2 cloves garlic, 1 Tbsp. coconut oil, herbs & spices
Leftovers from yesterday’s lunch. I ate half the contents of the skillet below and packed up the other half for lunch.
Lunch: 1:55 p.m. | 5 oz. pork sausage, 5 brussels sprouts, 1/4 yellow squash, 1/4 sweet onion, 2 cloves garlic, 1 Tbsp. coconut oil, herbs & spices, 22 macadamia nuts, .18 oz. chipotle SeaSnax seaweed
Dinner: 8:10 p.m. | 6 oz. calf liver, 4 eggs, 2 oz. baby spinach, 2 Tbsp. red palm oil, herbs & spices
